    Rrrrr.
Okay, when a teacher's style annoys me so much that I am skipping a class I really enjoy to avoid it? We have a problem.
Argh. She's actually really worth listening to; she has a lot of valuable things to say and I really enjoy the class in general (World Religions). I like the text, I like my fellow classmates (mostly. That blond wannabe surfer dude can go die in a fire) and I like talking to the teacher one-on-one. But in class? She's so patronizing, strict and inflexible that I have problems even listening to her. I can't take her seriously because she treats us all like four-year-olds. I get so pissed off I just want to scream, but I can't.
The flip side, of course, is when she doesn't bother to give us any help at all on papers or assignments. For example, she'll lecture the class for twenty minutes about a grammatical mistake one person made in one paper, but ignore me when I ask for help completing the Field Trip assignment. News flash, teacher: I don't have a car. I don't have transportation off campus besides my own two feet. I cannot, therefore, attend a religious service too far from campus without assistance. And guess what? My dad is nominally Catholic, so I can't attend the Catholic mass on campus and have that count by your own rules. I'm Wiccan, so the Imbolc celebration is also off-limits. Yet when I ask for help, you say, "Carpool with someone in the class," and wave me off. I tried to tell you I don't know my classmates that well. Ker-ignore!
Way to not help me at all. You're getting a nasty eval from me, I'll tell you that.
I just have to keep telling myself, only nine more classes. Eight if you don't count Passover. I only have to spend ten hours and forty more minutes in her presence. Ten hours and forty minutes, one paper and two short stories (don't ask), four more religions plus one catch-up day and one final. AAAARGH.

Right. Bitching done. On the bright side, my W key is fixed. I'm now co-teaching a "Turbo Noveling" class for May Term, as well as probably taking the "Designing for Sci-Fi and Fantasy Televison Shows" class (I love you, Evil Mistress!). I got my Christopher Eccleston/OT3 fix last night (I love you too, Myranda!). There's a lovely new HariKari comm around, so I can hopefully get my fanfic fix without having to write it myself. My writer's block is showing signs of breaking. I'll be able to take a courseload next term that's packed with history, English, creative writing and one language (mandarin Chinese, for you curious people. God help me). I will survive this semester, looks like, as long as I can get those big projects in math in on time and find someone to carpool with for my World Religions field trip. I'll talk to Cassandra; I sort of know her and she might be willing to help.
I just have to prevent myself from wringing my World Religions teacher's neck, and I should be okay. *deep breath through nose* *repeats mantra to self* It's all good, it's all good, it's all good...

I just got the best story beginning ever...
Unfortunately I can't finish it. Anyone want it?

"I tell ya," the yeti said, heaving a sigh, "it's hard out here for a pimp."
Even the mermaid and the Loch Ness monster paused in their conversation to turn and stare at him. Finally, the Jersey Devil said, "Dude, you did
    not just say that."
